Subject: Cover crop clover, What to do?

S.E. Iowa
I always sow clover in Feb, last year was no different. I got a good stand and the plan is to go to corn in the spring. Usually I plow, work it down and plant it in the same day for moisture conservation. With the moisture situation should I fall plow it? Maybe even seal moisture in? Erosion is not a problem, I could in the spring graze it prior to planting which will help the pasture. This is organic so no till is not an option. Then recently I have heard that I need a longer "breakdown" between plowing and planting. This year my corn averaged 81 bushels and great weed control. Any comments?
