S.C. Wisconsin | My opinion it wasn't the consumer who was so much against bst but the retailer who were trying to promote this to get edge on a market that could increase their margins. There is a bottler in our area who would only take producers who didn't use bst but has of lately dropped that requirement as they found out the consumer really didn't care. They had milk in the supermarkets that didn't have the label at a lower price than the milk with the label and the lower priced milk without the label consistently out sold the labeled milk. | |
