With a set of Trimpe hard faced wide spaced cylinder bars they will eat green stem beans very well. With the Trimpe setup they will do more than a R52 in green stem beans. It seems most combines in Kansas run standard bars or StJohns bars, which work very well in wheat, but not so good in beans. Trimpe bars may not be as good in wheat, but are great in beans.
