The 8100 with 540 PTO might be a big improvement over the Ford the relatives put on their new 13X70 swing-a-way this fall.
I tried several different methods to engage the PTO, but every way I tried, it still engaged with a BANG. I don't know if that's it's nature, or if it needs an adjustment. I've only driven it a couple hours before and have never paid attention to the Model number, but it's not a Genesis (sp ?).
Just lucky it was only used for beans this year.
In a year with good crops and no aflatoxin, I doubt it would be faster than the 10 inch it replaced, too many sheared bolts. | |
