| Just a little story on my dad's lift chair. My dad was in hospice care and had a hospital bed out in the four season porch and dad's lift chair. Dad needed someone with him 24/7 in the last couple weeks and it was night and my sister was staying with him. Dad was in bed and my sister was reclined trying to sleep in the chair. Dad called to her and of course it takes a minute to make the chair go up so she could get out. She goes to my dad and asks him what he wants. He looks at her and says..."I love you". She told him that she loved him too and goes back and reclines back down. Few minutes later, same thing she gets up and goes over by him and again "I love you" then she said "I love you too dad now go to sleep" we wish we could have a few more "I love yous" now. Miss him alot. | |
