Downtown Shell Knob MO Come Visit!
I must say Jim sometimes a guy need to figure out whats wrong with it. Whats wrong with feeding plastic to a cow, We always tryed to get twine off because it would ball up in there rumen or choke calfs or bla bla bla, but if its ground up I don't see the problem. If you told me you were going to hide a piece of soda pop lid or a peice of juice box straw in my steak every day but I would never taste it, I wouldn't have a problem with it, I would eat the plastic every day with a smile and not care,
Another example , I used to think feeding chicken litter to a cow was "yucky gross" but my upper level nutrition classes were taught by a crazy poultry nutritionist that just happened to know more about rumen heath than any rumen specialist ive met on the street, and it didn't take him long to explain everything a bird poops is ready to go into a cows rumen. (and he didn't beleive in feeding litter, he was just a crazy fact stater)
