Subject: Chrome OS on an old Laptop

Devils Lake, ND
It's an HP convertible tablet running Vista that was a POS when it was new a few years back. Nowadays it sits on the coffee table for internetting when I'm watching TV.

I want to install Chromium on a thumb drive and boot it from that. I think it will run faster and it will be a fun project. I've tried the download from hexxen.com and writing, zipping, ect, but I can't get it to work. Is there a place I can download an unzipped OS from? I know it will take forever to download, but it will be worth the wait if it works.
