Earthworm - 11/30/2012 21:15 So if I understand you right you hauled with one tank 8 million gallons in 30 days while going to school for how many hours per day? Must not have been very long hauls. Thats what I was thinking. 1000 loads in 30 days while going to school full time. You'd have to haul more than 4 loads/hr, 8 hrs/day for the entire month. That doesn't account for any down time for fuel or moving tanks & pumps. I'm not saying that it is impossible but it isn't very likely to have that much manure that has that short of hauls. Aside from that, if you there is enough work in your area there is money in hauling manure. Hauling with 2 tanks working together is much more efficient than one tank working by itself though. One tank by itself burns too much fuel for the pump tractors, plural. Unless it is a small pit you need more than one pump agitating. |
