Dallas Center IA 515-720-2463 | Pretty sure it could be done. More percision know how than me, however.
But thinking you may need one of the solfware programs like SMS to do it automatic.
If you could get by having turn the two rows off and on by hand, it could be fairly easy and cheap.
Two row clutches. I do not know if Tru-Count still have the single row electric clutch in their line or not. Maybe you could find a couple used ones.
Or the Tru-Count air operated single row clutch. With a manual control.
Or the Ag-Leader Sure Stop electric clutch. Again manual control.
One problem. The planter monitor is going to BEEP at you while the two rows are not in use. CAPs on beep because it will be loud.
You could disconnect the two rows. But then you would not have those two being monitored while in use.
You could buy an old monitor and have a special harness made for just the two rows. Turning the monitor off and on with the two rows.
It would make for nice spraying. Easy to always know just where to drive.
But as I have said many times - If the driven on soybeans yield enough to pay for the cost of the seed. You just as well plant them and drive over them.
