No nutrients will be removed other than N loss. By being happy with the soil samples, they may just mean that everything is nice and uniform. In order to get good data, they need uniform soils. Sounds like you already signed the deal, but finding the right spot for the plot is probably more important than cost. You could have maybe negotiated for more.
