NW Iowa
Darren,
Thanks for the technical excerpts. You dealers would not get called upon so often if Trimble would open up their online support to us users so that we could troubleshoot. I just replaced the servo spool and adjusted the deadband. Before the repair, I could not get the knees calibration set when doing a right turn. Once I replaced the valve, I can do the knees calibration and the values for both directions are almost identical. If I read your post correctly, Trimble's steering valve could also be suspect?? If so, how do I check that out? Right now, my 45 will wander one light either side of my line, as observed on my FMD. First to the right, then to the left, back and forth. Adjusting the aggressiveness doesn't help.
