Both ways have their pluses. I am now all spring with 32. I dabled with fall for a yr or 2, and ended up freshening up the strips in the spring any way. ( did a bunch of custom spring for that reason as well). I like planting in the fresh bed. Has worked well so far.
I am a one man show, so the stripping/planting period gets pretty hectic. Just depends on how fast things are drying
