Have a phone line that has three empty pairs of wire that comes from a house 2000 ft away. Would like to have the monitor in the house and cameras in building but I do not think that is possible.
You can use one of those dry pairs for networking, but at that range you would have to use a pair of special DSL modems called "Network Extenders". Not real cheap at about $700 for the pair.
If you have line-of-sight from the house, you could probably get by a lot cheaper using off-the-self wireless routers and small directional antennas. |
