Subject: Pigtails, Poly, & Cornstalks

SC NE to NC KS
Have a quarter of stalks I was going to turn the cattle out on for a couple months next week. Around here everything is steel t-post corners with rebar posts and insulators w/ wire. Curious if anyone had any experience using the pigtails instead of rebar and stringing up poly rope/wire instead of steel wire. Just thinking it might be easier to step in the pigtails rather than hammer in a few hundred rebar posts. Working "smarter not harder" has always been a motto I try to adhere to. Thoughts???
