I think it is time for farm groups along with the FSA/USDA and the conservation/environmental groups to have a paradigm shift in wetlands approach that would benefit all. Instead of having "farmable wetlands" lets truely cooperate by moving them to dedicated edges of the field. That way farmland becomes more productive and so do wetlands.
In this time of grain shortage.....So many times farmers are trying to answer the call of the markets and the new call of 300 bu only to find out they can not mess with the farmable wetlands in their fields.
Let wetlands be good wetlands and farmland be good farmland and it would be a win win situation. Not only for America but also the world.
