You cannot go wrong with the All American canner. Bought by wife one about 5 yrs ago and she loves it. Very heavy, thick aluminum. Takes awhile to heat up but stays very, very steady. No rubber gaskets to replace. They are expensive, but will last several generations if handled with care. Just need to be a bit careful to not bang up and nick the sealing surface on the lid.
