I had a retirement account a few years ago. When Argentina and several European countries "protected" private retirement accounts by nationalizing them in 08-09 I paid the penalty and closed those accounts early and bought another farm. I actually sleep BETTER with another farm and without a government regulated/sanctioned retirement account.
