| Try feeding them steaming hot cereal for breakfast right before sunrise on a cold morning.
I buy one or two pickup truck loads of wet brewers grain a week from a microbrewery on my way home from work.
That number 28 is a purebred Tarantiase 1st calf heifer (actually technically a 2nd calf heifer since she had twins on her first try). I call her Gilligan because she's my little buddy. Also , she's always up in my face annoying me.
This Gelbvieh X Red Angus heifer has enough fluff on her head to get a bit of a Bride of Frankenstein look going.
These pictures didn't really turn out worth a darn, but it was probably because it was still kind of dark out or I was shivering too much (or both). Here's my precious bales of swamp grass getting wasted away in bale rings as the sun started to come up. Happy cows and steaming grain are off to the distance on the left.
