There is a simple solution, and a lot of folks will disagree with me on this. But this is based on my personal experience. Choose not to get angry. I didn't say it would be easy. James 1:19 tells us to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry. Slow to become angry ... it implies we have a choice. If we can slow down becoming angry it means we have a choice. There are times when it is right and good to be angry. But usually it is at situations, not people. It is a choice you make. Changing is not easy, and you will fail at it a lot until you get it under control ... and you will never get it completely under control because we all are human and we all fail at times. |
