A good friend of mine was throwing a party, told me I needed to come meet her friend. Said this friend had just gotten out of a relationship. I remember saying "I don't need to deal with that s*** again." I ended up going to the party, meeting this girl, and marrying her a year later. I wasn't looking for a girl, in fact, I had pretty much given up. My sister was on the verge of setting an account up for me on an online dating site. When I met my wife, I knew within a month that I wanted to marry her. We dated for 6 months and had a 6 month engagement. It's been the best thing that ever happened to me.
It's tough, but you just gotta let it happen. I agree that a lot of girls out there in our age bracket (I'm 27) aren't all there, but there are still some good ones. Give it time. | |
