Downtown Shell Knob MO Come Visit!
We used to use a newberry knife and a henderson tool. I remember the first time my uncle(he's a vet) showed up with a henderson tool way back in the day, he was all excited and then his black and decker cordless went dead after about two calves and we spend half the day dragging a corded drill out to the shoot just because the neighbors had showed up so we weren't going to give up on using it.
They seem to be the only way to go for cutting, We have sinse went to banding, but if I had to cut thats the only way I would do it. Seems like the only reason we spend so long to start banding on this farm was because "hobby farmers band" and us real cowboys know how to castrate, now we don't care.
