If you had read my post I mentioned that the distance and time is a factor when combining beans. Lots of time when combining beans my partner is involved with pumpkins as he raises about 10 or 12 acres of pumpkins and it is a busy time for him. On top of that non gmo beans are harder to get now than RR, but there is a yield drag with RR. But I have really cleaned up some weed problems with the RR beans. This may be paying better than the non gmo's. At one time we had a small seed company near us that I grew a lot of their beans back in the 70s and 80s before RR was on the market. They had one variety that I really liked and they dropped it. Back in the 70s and 80s that variety never yielded under 70 bu per acre and I had a lot of 80+ yields with it. I have never had any RR come close to that nor for that matter any other non gmo, but any non gmo that I have raised always out yields the RR.
