My seed company has figures that say the Roundup Ready 2 varieties are now averaging about 3.35 bushels per acre better than the Roundup Ready 1's. That said..if you had a conventional variety that competed well with the RR1's...it's probably slacking against the RR2's. There hasn't been significant numbers of non-GMO variety releases since Monsanto took the seed market hostage....so we're screwed till someone figures out we need more of them.
