onida, south dakota | we do a weekly mock trading and in that we had a couple different strategies that tied to insurance...................
we did various strategies............the one that peformed best was a straight futures sale.........followed by a put spread........then a straight put............last place was a christmas tree option trade..........basically selling an option and then buying two more different lower strikes....................all worked ok...........but in the end the price break wasn't enough to justify that cost...................but we didn't exactly pick the top of the market either.............
overall i still think being pro-active on protecting it was a good deal because it got guys comfortable..............and that is worth a lot | |
