I purchased $7.60 puts. Cost me $.41 when I did it. I produced more then my insurance gaurentee so I just held on to them until I sold a lot of my corn. The puts made up for the lower cash price I received after harvest. I would have been ahead if I just would have sold cash corn at the time I purchased the puts but was unsure of my yield.
