SC IA | Thanks for all the replies. I be would doing all the crop management other than grain marketing,because of this my charges will be higher than if single operations were hired out. I also want control so that I am not waiting on supplies or someone else to make decisions. The custom charges will all be upfront before we start the season. The new owner has a full time off farm job along with purebreed cattle. He wanted the choice to be able to chop corn if needed, and has more of the farm is seeded to hay this arrangement may change. He has watched my farming practices as we have both been in this area about 30yrs. Thanks again for all the replies as they have given me some ideas to work from. | |
