| Seek the advice of a private or state forestry consultant for marketable timber management....rather than the logger who unlikely has the long term value of your timber in mind only some short term monetary satisfaction....many times the private consult can get you top dollar for your resource. Pulp wood or trash tree (cedar) removal in non-marketable timber...less impt the consultant IMO.
It takes timber a long time to recover from mistakes.....always remember that!
Wanting only your high $$ walnut?....I'd say he is high grading your timber. | |
