South Central South Dakota | I took this opritunity to get rid of my undesirable cattle and replace them with some better cattle sold off my 70 head of Charolais cross cattle and replace them with some younger black/black baldies also culled out my other older and downer cows, bad hips, legs, eye, and bad disposition. I'm also looking at buying bred stock in replace of keeping back heifers this year for replacements. Will also problem also replace all opens after we finish preg checking cows next week hope its not many but you never know.
As has been discussed if we get moisture cattle market will go crazy if we don't then it will probly stay about the same as it is now |
