nw MN | I would pull out glow plugs and turn over the motor by with a breaker bar. Once the liquid comes out you will be able to tell if it is coolant or fuel. It doesnt take much liquid in a cylinder to hydro-lock it. An injector could possibly leak enough fuel while sitting to hydrolock. That could also explain reduced power. Are you down on coolant? Milky oil? Is there a coolant/air aftercooler on this engine? If it has the coolant over air aftercooler you might suspect that as leaking into the intake. If you have a head gasket problem it could leak coolant into the cylinder while sitting. Lots of possibilitites, start with getting it unlocked, and go from there. | |
