| No matter what we have, little or lot, we are mere stewards of it. While I believe that a mans own hard work and determination can cause success to appear to be of his own hand, it is not. I think that was the point of the story of the rich young ruler and Mat 19:24 which says "And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." Not that the rich can't, but their own wealth tends to skew their thinking to the point they are sure they got it all on their own.
