Martinsville, Ohio | That's a good way to look at it. Really, we are limited by that huge amount of sand, silt and clay we tend in the area of the root zone versus controlling it in a liquid solution. Soil is a blessing but some of the ways we try to farm it, it starts to be quite expensive!
I still know a lot more about an acre of blank soil type than I do an acre of water and if I do it right, I don't have to hold the plants up or spend all that money trying to get enough sunshine to it!
