| we just watched the video in my upper level Soil Properties class.
It was uncanny how many concepts/people/practices that we've discussed earlier in the semester were brought together in one video.
2 key ideas that I hope my students took away from the video are:
1) new molecular biology techniques have greatly enhanced the scientific investigation of soil biology
2) Access to soil from farms using innovative practices is an important part of the scientific investigation of soil biology
If you are using innovative practices and are open to providing soil for biological analyses, I encourage you to talk to your local extension staff.
