Geneva Welding in Geneva Ne has been building them for years.  I am guess they are using used oil field pipe.  Maybe they use new pipe, not sure.  If you Googled them they might have some pictures of what they make.  They ship them all over the US they say.  Keep 1 or 2 men busy welding them up every day.  They get the pipe to the desired length using couplers and then, put come- a- longs or some sort of puller on each end of the pipe to get there desired arc, weld a horizontal pipe or pipes to the arched pipe and then they are ready to weld on there cross pipe for the pivot tire to walk on and over the bridge they have built.  Hope that was more clear than mud.

I built one using old well casing with under trust piping.
