"How come the debt to asset ratio is rising twice as fast as the land value is ????"

Tara,
I have been hearing something like that. Do you have a link so I can for that info?I would like to see when debt started rising.Because we were hearing for a awhile , maybe up to about 6 mo. to 1 yr ago how farmers balance sheets were so strong. Compared to late 70s. And we would not crash land prices were being paid mostly cash. But I have been reading more recently higher debt to asset ratio's than late 70s - early 80s
Thanks
