I would think about taking Wildcat's idea and adding to it: get some pics of current animals on your farm that are descendents, if you have them; and then make up a chart showing the pedigree from that original down to what you have today. And then create a display to hang. (If you don't have current descendents, that kinda kills that idea.) edit: I went back and re-read your original post. I think this is kinda what you were thinking, isn't it? If you don't have descendents on your farm, does that particular animal have any descendents that are popular today? Such as a bull in stud? etc? If so, I would pick one current descendent and show the pedigree from then to now. I agree. Showing all the offspring would get crazy.
