Subject: RE: Oldest pivot still in use?

I purchased 160 acres 3 years ago that had a 1974 reinke. Replaced it with an 8000 valley pivot. The pvot was 10 miles away and I wanted a reliable pivot that I can monitor with GPS. I semi retired the reinke to another 80 acre field and still running today. It is the only Reinke I own out of 7 pivots. Just keeps on working. It will go back to.watering 160 acres if I can buy the 80 next to it.
