Most industries have purpose-built management software available. If you ran a shoe store or restaurant you can bet you would be tracking inventory, customers, and employees. You would analyse what is selling and how people respond to sales. Software for all of this is easy to find...but it is strictly finance-based. So much of what we do in agriculture is based on location that I think a GIS is required to make sense of it all. I want to map expenses the same way I map yield. Then, I want to start asking questions...
