Thanks, Don. I know there is a thin market for this sort of thing and options are limited. I ran FW for a few years and gave up. I'll look (again) at ES. Toolbox can do what you describe but it isn't clearly wasn't designed to do so.

What I'm looking for would resemble Quick Books on the General Ledger and SST's Summit on the GIS. But I don't want to spend endless hours exporting/importing spreadsheets. Data should flow to the grid level and be retrievable by a variety of applications, not just one monolithic program that may or may not fit your needs. Access by mobile devices would be a big plus. Also, the less proprietary clutter the better. Most of the parts are already out there as open source, if a guy could knit them together.
