That would make since, if the pond was up the hill, field and then the outlet of the tile drainage below you could gravity feed the irrigation and everything would still be running down hill.... plumbers know 2 things, poo runs down hill and paydays on friday. ;)
Only problem is that who puts a pond at the top of the hill........i mean other then the NRCS office...
