Pumpkins don't explode. Now watermelons on the other hand will. They fly nicely and keep the kids interested. I tought a kid to shoot a deer rifle one time and he wouldn't concentrate on paper targets. So we brought out the frosted water melons. He blew them all over the pasture. Great fun.
