TX | I don't like to give antibiotics to every calf on arrival. If pull rates are 10% that means 90% didn't need it. I also feel like a lot of the drugs are hard on their gut. I also like the stress tubs put in the backs of the pens for cattle I expect to be high risk. I'll also put out a good free choice mineral for a few week or so. We have also started giving safegaurd drench along with a pour on on arrival. I really like this, seems like it really cleans em up. | |
