Pick the side with the straightest edge to the field then plant the Headland on one side (away from the straight side then back towards so you don't back-track)

Set my a-b while on the straightest part of the field going towards the unplanted headland, plant the far headland and you'll be back on the straight side working towards the far/crooked end thats unplanted.

Overkill but we do 48R on the headland, don't feel like shutting 1/2 the planter off and operator possibly forgetting to turn it back on for 36.
