It made a Crop

I just came across this tread. Thought I add a little more info on the Combine deal.


Eugene leased 10 TR-70's from a New Holland dealer  South of Danville In. for the 1979 harvest. A classmate of mine in ran a grain cart that year for him. The combine were pretty much junk by the end of the season. One ended burnt. The story I was told told was they had plug it cutting beans. Spent as some time passed while they were trying to clear the plug. A few beer runs later and unsuccessful idea sparked by a match and/or lighter didn’t turn out well.

My unstanding is the NH dealer didn't survice the finiancial hit they took out of the returned TRashed 70s.
