Subject: RE: What Cotton Variety performed the Best? or worst?

Elkmont, AL
Phy 499, blew everything out of the water in my strip trial, but still not convinced it will work on all my farms due to growth characteristics. Dp0912 continued to be a good all around performer this year, and dp1137 did well on my high and dry farms. Most of my farms are grey Dickson and cookeville silt loams, which require a different train of thought when picking a variety, then my neighbors to the south on the red Decatur silt loams. I'll probably plant a little more 1137 and try a few acres of 499, just have to be more proactive vs reactive with the pix on these two horses.
