I was reading about the venus flytrap and how it evolved in the bogs of North and South Carolina to trap insects because the bogs soils are so low in nutrients.  Man, if you could insert that gene into corn!  Just think, you get your fertilizer and insecticide all in one!!!  I'm going to the patent office on Monday to register that!!
