Here I am pretty sure that process would not work at all. First for here you have only planted 1/3 of a crop. I would drop 36000 seeds in conditions like that. Are you dry there? Also we need to see dirt, at the very least in the row, to get things to warm up. You did a good job of planting through that much residue though. Is there tile where you are, tile in the wet spots may help.
