SE Wyoming

novaman - 11/24/2012 09:57 4.5 planting corn 7 seeding small grains. I would be getting a different drill if I had to go 3 mph. How do you get anything done at that rate?

Nothing to do with the drill. It has everything to do with the dirt. Anything to fast and the press wheel ridges fall. In this country thats about all you have to keep the wind from shearing the wheat off. It just takes time. 300 acres a day per day is about max. Takes two drills a little over 30 days to finish.
