SE MT
Need more info to give a better answer. Depends, tilled or no-till? Disk drill or Hoe/shoe? Drill Spacing 6" - 12"? I have a 7 1/2" double disk 455 in tilled dirt and 5.8 - 6mph usually works good and doesnt' throw too much dirt on the trailing row. But if using a narrow spacing hoe drill in tilled dirt 4mph might be fast enough. And are we talking days of planting or hours?? If only a small amount I would rather go to the slow side if time is not a huge factor. Good luck!
