Boone, Iowa | I had a love/hate relationship with my AFX rotor in my 2188 and current 2388. I could combine beans earlier and run later. When I got into corn, I was always messing with settings, trying to get my grain sample clean. Two years ago, I installed Kile Machine Rotor flightings for the AFX and the K506 rasp bars for corn and soybeans. Unbelieveable difference in corn sample quality. I also have very little rotor rpm drop. Something to think about if you are set on a 6 row head, is that you will need to find a combine on single drive tires. | |
