Skeet with a 410 is tough.  #8 shot with as big of load as you can get which will probably be around 1/2 oz unless you can shoot 3" rounds which will put you at about 5/8 oz of shot.  410 is expensive to shoot unless you reload. If you are just learning skeet I would start with a 12 ga. and 7/8 or 1 oz loads. Then to concentrate more use a tighter choke and then graduate to small gauges. Even after getting proficient at trap the skeet range can humble a person.  The way to get good is lots of practice.
